Dear friends,
I have Logitech z5500 lying around, and I have been trying to find a way to use it’s control unit as pre-amplifier to other power amplifier.
This unit accepts analog, as well as digital (optical/coaxial) inputs and decodes DD/DTS legacy.
I have seen several bypass cables to use the subwoofer (subwoofer has 5.1 plate amplifier) without the control unit, but I am wondering if I can just use control unit as processor.

Looking for any help if anyone has tried this successfully.

What is this other power amplifier?
I have many, which I could use for 5/6 channel setup.
Like Aiyima A07, A07 Pro, A07 Max, XTZ Edge 300, Topping PA5 II, SMSL AO200, Yamaha A301, etc.

All I am trying to do is, to use the control unit as pre-amplifier or processor as it can decode DD/DTS with volume control.
