Me too. I know too much about smurt (spy) phone stuff, and keeping one dummed down just for good quick photo and emergency comms is a headache. Now...about that 3D printer....

Was hoping for a gifted ASR diy-er to take up the challenge and start mass-producing them.

For the time being I'll stick to my (Android-app compatible) SailfishOS phone.

They'd have to sell billions of them to affect the combined entropy of pointless meetings - glad to be done with them!
Wonder if the old DMTF dialer keypads would be easier to implement - I did a lot of DIY phone stuff based on the 1st generation of SLIC chips

I sold my Nokia years ago and the buyer that showed up was soooo sooo happy to buy it. I couldn't understand it. I still don't.

I still miss my Motorola razor, not to mention their original flip phones that you could play soccer with (and frequently did, in airports
But time, and tech, move on.

UPDATE: after initially offering the design as a DIY-kit, Justine has now converted her basement into a rotary phone production site and plans to start delivery this autumn.
