The new AVM and MRX series details are available:

@cbrents73 - if your engineering colleagues are confident in how these perform (objectively measured, on a test bench), perhaps they could send a review sample to Amir, and be as open to dialogue as Denon have been? Ideally the AVM90.

If this can be done, absolutely not the AVM90 unless it is for the purposes of enjoying a good lynching here if it measures badly. The higher up in the price pedestal they are, louder the lynch party. ;)

AVM90 at US$7000 is an over-priced box for the life-style crowd with more money than sense. Its performance would be irrelevant to anyone outside its niche audience. It also wouldn't say anything about the more competitively priced AVM70.

It would be a lot more useful and practical to the audience if the AVM70 can be measured instead to see if it passes or not.

Leave the AVM90 for the Stereophile and Audioholics shill crowd.

I'd be interested to see them both measured - I wasn't suggesting the tests had to be mutually exclusive. The AVM70 is more relevant to most sensible customers, but I don't think there's anything wrong with seeing how the AVM90 performs. Mainly out of interest, to see if Anthem's flagship could set a new benchmark among the AVRs/Ps tested here.

Sure. Both measured to see why one is twice the price of the other would be illuminating. :)

But if only one was made available, measuring the AVM90 wouldn't be as useful as the AVM70 unless it measured bad in which case it would be fodder for the sharks!

Depends on one's level of optimism/pessimism. If the ASR pre/pro review trend is maintained, might as well have the AVM90 measured first cos its going to measure like crap and then its easy - AVM70 won't be any better :D

I am ofc joking. I am now more interested in AVM60 getting measured as it will be available soon in the clearance section.
