I am planning for my pc audio setup:
Audio source is my Windows pc.
USB DAC is the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4.
Will connect a pair of studio monitors and a subwoofer. Therefore 3 analog channel outputs will be needed.
The 4i4 will do bass management, and hopefully there is PEQ ability. I'm very new to such device/interface for pc audio.

I'm not sure if the 4i4 is the cheapest and best device for such job. In the general home theater world, people will use AVR/pre-pro for bass management and speaker eq. Or a minidsp 2x4. Is there other better and easier alternative from Chinese brands like Aiyima?

The 4i4 alone won't do bass management, or PEQ. For that you'd have to use a software DSP solution like Equalizer APO.

I'm not aware of a better or easier alternative to the 2x4HD from brands like Aiyima.

We did exactly what you described above (though not one sub but two)
We used the 4i4 4th Gen + Jriver (with some VST plugins) and the results were jaw-dropping
My friend keeps calling me literally every other day raving about the sound :)
