List of USB interfaces with 2 CH ADC and 4 CH DAC, all balanced

The RME ADI-2/4 PRO you mentioned above costs over 2k but only has 2 analog outputs (the other outputs are digital). So it doesn't meet the requirements. Definitely a high performance unit, but just not one for the list even if you ignore the crazy pricing. I don't think it is right to use headphone outputs.

The RME ADI-2/4 definitely has 4 line-level analogue outputs. Two just happen to be TRS.

@unpluggged and @manisandher My apologies - you are correct about the RME ADI-2/4. I missed the channel 3/4 markings under the TRS jacks and thought that they just duplicated the XLRs. If I can figure out how to edit the first post again I will add it to the list.

It's in a different class as the rest of the interfaces and for me not affordable because I would use one per side typically in a 3- or 4-way loudspeaker pair. If you do not feel that €2k+ for one 2/4 interface is not "crazy" then you have a lot more money to throw at your hobby than I do! It's more than 10 times the least expensive interface.

Do you know of any independent measurements that have been published for it? I found only a review for the ADI-2 FS Version 2 on this site. Would that be representative of the 2/4?
