Dutch&Dutch 8C ‘Roon Ready’
The Dutch&Dutch 8C is one of my very favourite loudspeakers, it is a fairly large three way active stand mount, tweeter, 8” mid and two further 8” drivers on the rear.
It is depending upon the construction of the room pretty much full—range, it has a cardioid FR through its mid-range meaning you hear more direct sound, constant directivity ( on and off-axis response are the same) which makes it extremely transparent.
‘t has built in parametric EQ and sophisticated tone controls, all of which makes it one of the best loudspeakers you can buy irrespective of price.
As well as REW ( room eq wizard) integration the 8C is also Roon ‘ready’ ( Spotify connect too) which means that if you use Roon playback software then you can stream directly to the 8Cs, volume control is directly linked to Roon.
Your entire system consists of a laptop running Roon and a pair of 8Cs.
