I swear it is making a BIG difference. Much cleaner/less distortion and tweeters now at perfect ear height. Sounds great!

Replace the mounting tape with some of these spikes for making a BIG difference in transient response.:confused:
 
A few times I've employed just some simple risers rather than whole stands, to elevate the stands with a solid base to the height I want.
 
I was about to build one in wood for my 3 way classic in progress, but saw this cheap ODDVAR at ikea:

They’re good for 100kgs, I’ll check the detailed dimensions in the shop but I might try.
Painted black, legs cut to the needed length, reversed with some concrete poured at the bottom + some sorbothane pads on top of the legs.
Thought about the lack table too but they are pretty weak.

Edit: dimensions were ok but in real they’re too thin, and would not look balanced below the big box.
So took some small lack to play with, their large legs are better, just need to be « solidified » a bit.
