I am about to build speaker stands for my JBL708P. The stands will be about 800mm tall, and I will build them with 2020 aluminium profiles.
The speakers have M8 mounting holes in the bottom, so I can screw the speakers to the stands or to dampers.
I have tiles on concrete floor.
I will listen to music at home mostly not very loud. My question is about the best sound quality.
The speaker stands will be without height adjustment all screwed together and maybe filled with sand.

I can screw the speakers directly to the stands. Or I can put dampers between the speakers and the stands.
And on the floor, I can put the stands directly on the floor or put dampers in between.
I guess on the floor I should use some dampers (or even just a rubber mat) so that the stands and floor don't scratch.
Should I also put dampers between the speakers and the speaker stands?

I read the following thread, and it seems to me most participants agree that it doesn't really matter.

What do you think or recommend?

Hello my friend.
I will listen to music at home mostly not very loud.
Probably not a reason for big worries.
Should I also put dampers between the speakers and the speaker stands?
In the case of stands filled with damping material, that could actually be counterproductive.
The stands will be about 800mm tall, and I will build them with 2020 aluminium profiles.
For this reason I would put dampers also between the speakers and speaker stands. Aluminium profiles could acoustically resonate.

Cheers :)
