Hi!
So...I am currently using a WiiM Ultra because I like how it looks and has nice features BUT I really only use it to stream my own data and it seems flacky with Cover Art etc.
I can get more art using Emby and casting to the WiiM...but then I read someone mentioning that if one is only streaming music from a NAS and not services like Tidal, then a Pi with Moode would be a much better option.

As long as I can access it via my phone like WiiM I wouldnt mind a better alternative for my needs.
Does anyone sell them prebuilt? I would love to make it look as nice as possible with a small screen but the main concern is getting a better user experience for my locally stored files (NAS).

Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks

There's the Volumio Motivo, but it's a bit pricey... https://shop.volumio.com/product/motivo/

Or something like this at the other end of the market (you need to add your own RPi 4 to this)... https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/open...for-raspberry-pi-4-dac-es9038q2m-p-15148.html

I'm not bothered about a screen and run PlexAmp Headless on an RPi4 in an Argon case for my bedside setup. It's controlled with the PlexAmp (or Plex) app on my phone or tablet.

If pre-built is a must then one option may be:
But putting one together, writing Moode Audio to a 16Gb micro SD card and putting this in the Pi, and then connecting the Pi to your NAS at the back end and to your Ultra (perhaps via optical cable) is not difficult. Moode has a lot of compatibility with many NAS options.
