What's the tinnitus "sound" you have ?
It could be worth a poll.
I have no screeching or kettle noises in my head, but water pipe noise. But I'm sure that it's (still) related to better quality sleep.
The first time I became aware of “my” tinnitus is at age five. I still vividly remember thinking “will I have to hear this my whole life?”. 60 years later it’s still there — but somehow I have gotten used to it. Never sought treatment for it, and even walked away from an overenthusiastic ORL who wanted to infuse my ears with procaine over the course of a week (I’d have to come in and spend the night at the hospital 7 days in a row). I went to see her because of a suspected otitis, but the pressure in my ears coincidentally disappeared during the drive to her office (about 200 m lower than my place). My ears felt fine after the visit .
