I like this data presentation, sorry if I missed it, but which software?
Investigate SOX. It can produce a spectrogram with an upper frequency bound.

I mostly listen to old-school rap & hiphop, but a couple of years ago I discovered Arab (and in particular, Palestinian) rap. Very well produced and meaningful in its lyrics (of which I get almost none since my Arabic is A-level at best, but thankfully good translations exist).

They also love their bass. As can be heard here. (Arab Style)

Just a slow clap for this thread . Love the graphs, thankyou very much

"Slow clap"? That implies sarcasm, so you think that's all a waste of time then?

Pan Sonic - Hades
First 90 seconds is usually enough, goes a bit too far into droning noise for my taste. But that bass has some weight and enough room in the mix during the first minutes.

Burnt Friedman - Platin tundra
This has some nice deep slides here and there.

Pino Palladino, Blake Mills - Ekuté
Subtle and deep lowlow end in many of the tracks from the album "Notes with attachments"

I don’t see the following track mentioned. Maybe not crazy sub-bass, but they managed to get a sine sweep into the bridge in a contextually appropriate manner.

Big Tymers - Still Fly

@HiMu thanks for recommending “Notes with attachments”. I find myself continually playing it
