AMP + DAC for HifiMan Sundara

I think the built in one is the ToneBoosters one. You have to pay a small amount to use it. I haven't used USBAPP for a while though.

I just need an AMP/dac for transportable music listening.
No bluetooth needed here, since I have decided to buy a desktop dac with building bluetooth.

This will give me more options when picking the new transportable amp/dac.
What do you think?

Is it a bad match? Or maybe there is just better setup for Sundara?

Included bluetooth is totally okay - just a nice extra feature.

Would you recommend Topping G5 for Sundara?
G5 is quite big for transportable use. Bigger than BTR7.

I wonder if G5 is too big for my pockets.
Is G5 much better than BTR7, then of course I can consider buying this one.

Otherwise, BRTR 5 or BTR7 will be more suitable for me.

In my experience, DX3 Pro+, while a great piece of equipment, has too low power output. I would shell out an extra $100 to ensure enough power.

I need Bluetooth in my desktop amp/DAC for TV/movie.
Therefore, L50 + E50 is not an option here :-(

How to solve this?

39E sounds expensive for the EQ plugin- I thought it was more like £5-9 when I bought it years ago. The Morphit plugin is only £4 (I know thats not the same thing but remember EQ plugin being similar price to it.

Not the same- you buy the add on within UAPP itself - thats the full Windows suite. Get a trial of UAPP and see what teh PEQ add on price is

But you are asking for a dac/amp for a specific pair of headphones in the thread? For info the DX3 pro + will put over 1 watt into the Sundara in high gain. Over 200mw into a 300 ohm pair like the Senn HD600. Its potent.

For that matter, of course you are right.

Not sure what setup you have, but an Rpi4 running Moode should be able to pickup a BT signal and output it to the E50 via USB. Total cost about $70 with case, power, and USB cable.

Or maybe I have not understood your issue…?

Sundara is 35 Ohm, not 300 Ohm like HD600… it’s a whole different challenge for the DX3…

Topping L50 + E50 (this setup does not included Bluetooth)

I need Bluetooth for TV/movie.

Therefore, I am asking if BTR7 can be connected to my Topping E50?

There is no need buying Rpi4, if I can connect BTR7 to my E50.

TV signal (bluetooth) --> BRT7 connected to the L50/E50 --> HifiMan Sundara.
But is that doable?

Im going to humbly suggest you are doing something wrong there- or need to speak to the Devs/ Google
