Thank you, but I does not make any sense.
I am doing the exact same thing :-S

I must send an email to Toneboosters asking why this price difference.

$ does not equal power necessarily- what device were you thinking of?
Fully agree that $ does not equal power necessarily!

As regards what I was thinking:

Topping L50 deliver 2800mw x2 @32 Ohm, vs. 1800mW x2 @ 32 Ohm for DX3 Pro+.

YMMV, but for me 1800mW at 32 Ohm (i.e., DX3 Pro+ at max power with high gain) is just about loud enough for 32 Ohm headphones… and leaves zero headroom.

Sundara is 35 Ohm, not 300 Ohm like HD600… it’s a whole different challenge for the DX3…
EDIT- I see we cross posted- ignore what I just said

I know that calc isnt perfect but the DX3 should be able to get a stock Sundara to 125 dB- which should give headroom for some EQ. Unless it runs out of current.

But yes, the L50 smokes it , for sure, if OP does actually need that power. Unless we know intended listening level- we wont know.

Desktop-setup:
Topping L50 + E50 (this setup does not included Bluetooth)

I need Bluetooth for TV/movie.

Therefore, I am asking if BTR7 can be connected to my Topping E50?

There is no need buying Rpi4, if I can connect BTR7 to my E50.

TV signal (bluetooth) --> BRT7 connected to the L50/E50 --> HifiMan Sundara.
But is that doable?
The BTR7 has analog outputs. The E50 only takes digital inputs. So you cannot connect BTR7 output to L50 input.

But the L50 takes analog inputs. So you can connect the BTR7 (analog only) output to the L50 input, provided you have the right cable.

In theory, either of these should do the trick.

Plug the 4.4mm end on the BTR7 output, and the other end (TRS 6.35mm, or RCA) into the L50 (NOT the E50).

Thank you very much.
Are you sure this will gonna work?

Thank you very much.
Are you sure this will gonna work?
Mechanically, yes.

Soundwise, voltage and impedance levels must match. Especially, BTR7 output voltage must be high enough for L50 input, which requires 2V. I don’t have time to check, but if you look at the user manuals you should find the answer.
Thank you very much.
Are you sure this will gonna work?
No. I just checked and BTR7 output in 0.3 to 0.4V
Thank you very much.

Amir measured BT7 voltage output at 2.3V, vs. requirement of 2V for RCA input of L50. So there is enough voltage.

I do not understand it all. Sorry.

"No. I just checked and BTR7 output in 0.3 to 0.4V"
Does that mean that L50 + BTR7 do not match?

39E sounds expensive for the EQ plugin- I thought it was more like £5-9 when I bought it years ago. The Morphit plugin is only £4 (I know thats not the same thing but remember EQ plugin being similar price to it.
I have just tried again.
The price in Denmark is 39€. :-(

Thank you :)
I do not have such experience, so I do not not know.

Is there any good EQ apps, used with UPS Audio Player Pro?

I do live in Denmark. Not UK. ;-)
That's what I'm asking. How do other app prices on Danish play store compare to prices here in UK?

I think 39€ is a little pricy :-(

If you don't use uapp you could try the main app for your streaming service and get wavelet. Allows you to import auto eq profiles for hundreds of headphones /iem

I have to use UAPP, otherwise the sound will be "packed".
I guess I can still use UAPP and use another EQ software with UAPP??

Not if you are going out to a USB dac and controlling that with uapp, no. You could see if uapp will control the internal dac on your phone (see uapp settings) and then go via another eq app but that means android resampling again.

I'd ask Google what's going on with the price of the PEQ add on. That's just not right.

I think it is a great good idea to create a new tread for this topic.
I guess other music lovers have the same issue.

I am pretty sure it will work.

To find out, you only need to buy one of the cables that I indicated.
