Alternative for Klipsch R-41m (Desktop-Speakers with Subwoofer)

I've sold the Polk ES15 and changed to Heco Aurora 300. It sounds (and) feels classes better than before. I could lower the subwoofer crossover to 40Hz and I guess I could also totally live without it! The only issue I still have is that I can't give them enough space. The sound becomes much better when I get a step back from my seating position. So as nearfield speakers I could not recommend them and not sure if that would be better with real monitors like Kali Audio LP-6 v2. I decided not to buy them but the Heco because I'm very sensitive to white noise / idle sound which especially powered speakers normally have.

I boosted 80-100hz with 2db, now I'm really happy with the Aurora 300s! Subwoofer crossover is set at 80Hz but I could also easily play without the sub completely!
