In case you non-Melburnians don't get the reference, the joke is about the Montague St. Bridge which is notorious for many crashes because it was built too low. Despite all the crashes, a former premier marvelled that "it is formidable ... it remains undefeated". A true icon of Australian engineering.

Every Memorial Day weekend here in Boston we enjoy the spectator sport of watching students drive rental trucks into the bridges over Storrow Drive. Search for "storrow drive" on youtube for many of the traditional local TV news stories about it.

The following is actually an official attempt to mitigate this.

Dunno how successful it was but it's quite funny. Turns out if you do this on Memorial Drive or Soldier's Field Road it's still: you got STORROWED.
