Hello All,

After the passing of a very good friend (Steve Hutchesson), back in 2023, I ended up taking over the running of the Forums he ran, one of which was dedicated to Assembly Language coding (amongst other things), as he was responsible for creating what became known as the MASM32 SDK, which is still used widely by many people around the world and was I guess also responsible for perpetuating and promoting a renewed interest in assembly coding. (Links to the site and forum supplied below) :)

BUT, ... recently, one of the more senior members created a possibly interesting 'Tool' that perhaps some/many of you may find interesting and/or useful, being a 'Wav' File Information Viewer.
This small executable program can Interrogate a WAV file and return all the various pieces of information as may be stored / encoded within.
NB; Not ALL WAV files actually utilize or include all or any any of information that can be encoded ... but some do.

As the member knew I had an interest and background in professional Audio, after testing, he suggested I could provide this to anyone I knew that could use it or perhaps find it useful.
He is therefore happy for myself to provide it here for Members, Free for their use if they so desire.

I can (as the Administrator of the MASM32 Forum), guarantee, it is Legitimate, and is free of Any dubious or malicious code / viruses etc :)
Mind you, that said, depending on one's individual Anti Virus settings, it May return a 'False Positive' although I doubt it, as it has not done so on any of my Win 7 or Win 10 machines :)
For those that may be concerned, I did send this to Amir to check and get his approval prior to posting.

So please feel free to grab the file and use as you wish and please do not hesitate to report back if you desire.
Enjoy :)

Regards,
Stewart

It can also be accessed indirectly, via the MASM32 SDK Main Web Page (which gives a great overview of the SDK and Steve's work etc), here: The MASM32 SDK
