Who's there?

Fibonacci
well played. :)

I always thought that the old pop standard Mr. Sandman could have benefited from a slight re-write of the third (?) verse.

Mr. Sandman (yes) bring us a dream
Give him a pair of eyes with a "come-hither" gleam
Give him a lonely heart like Pagliacci
And lots of wavy hair like Liberace Fibonacci
Mr. Sandman, someone to hold (someone to hold)
Would be so peachy before we're too old
So please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring us, please, please, please
Mr. Sandman, bring us a dream

that's a real shame, their drivers make 80K a year....

Most do a lot better than that...

"Full-time delivery drivers
Full-time delivery drivers earn an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, which includes $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, plus an average of 18 days off for holidays, sick leave and option days. UPS also contributes to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee."

The cynic in me says they're keeping one full-time delivery driver on the books to make the numbers look good, while forcing all the rest to be independent contractors with lower pay and fewer benefits like some of their competitors.
I don't know how many are full time. The others aren't independent contractors. They are part time and seasonal. Those make a bit over $23/hr not including benefits. They do get the full benefits if they've been there I think 3 months even as a part time worker. A few years back you had some chance of getting full time status once you had been there 3 years. I'd imagine that might be harder now. I've read they have 15,000 drivers which have been with them 25 or more years and have never had an accident. I doubt those being there that long are still part time.
