Probably the same as with E-scooters a vehicle to use if you really don't like your face and/or Teeth having a strong urge to faceplant yourself to the tarmac....

That's certainly a possibility, but you're not strapped to it so staying upright isn't out of the question. It might depend on what's become hardwired from other board sports.
