Looks like a solid portable DAC/HP amp
I also found a manual. Specs is solid as expected
I wonder when will this become available

I tried zooming the image but no luck, of course. Can only see ESS and XMOS.Which DAC chip is this?
inaudible difference.solid.
it's a DAC. EQ happens in software before the DAC.Without parametric EQ they can keep it.
I hope some day ASR will give us a A weight number as well.Nope. ASR standard doesn't use A weight for THD+N.
Not necessarily, all my EQ is hardware not software based.it's a DAC. EQ happens in software before the DAC.
Probably could based on the specs.I like the industrial design. do you think it will drive HD650 and clones? Could be a really good travel / train/plane setup.
It only depends on convenience. Those "fake" balanced outputs annoys me.
I know, but it can confuse the buyer and feels like they were lazy to not implement a real bal output when there is a connector that allows for that. Nowadays there are plenty of affordable dongles with true bal out.Probably could based on the specs.

Like what? We also don't know how much this costs... By the specs it has way more power than any dongle I've seen so....I know, but it can confuse the buyer and feels like they were lazy to not implement a real bal output when there is a connector that allows for that. For sure it has. But still leaves a "it could be even better" taste in the mouthLike what? We also don't know how much this costs... By the specs it has way more power than any dongle I've seen so....
