Hello, i need some help with choosing new passive bookshelf speakers. Recommend me budget speakers

Thank you

What do you call budget? For some that is €100, for others €1000 or even €3000 a piece.

There are some VERY nice inexpensive bookshelf speaker recommendations from ASR reviews along with Erins and Audioholics. You did the right thing by coming on here and asking. Prepare to get a lot of ideas!

Hi, can you give a bit more information - crucially your budget!
How big is the room and how far will you sit from the speakers? Do you have an amplifier yet and, if so, which one? How loud do you like to listen?
Anything else you can tell us is useful and might be essential

Otherwise, I'll just say - Elac DBR62 - which might be no use to you at all :)

ELAC Debut 3.0 series, KEF Meta series for a bit more...good places to start...depending on your budget.

If not using a subwoofer (I don't), probably best to shoot for a bass driver of 6.5" for a small to medium sized room.

I also agree with the ELAC bookshelves but if you want real honest to goodness bass, you will need a small subwoofer. Polks are another great set of speakers. Didn't take long for some rock solid recommendations to come in. I also have the same questions the others had about your budget, listening distance, room size and how loud you want to go. All info that is needed to really give you a great recommendation rather than just a good one.

KEF R3 Meta or Revel M106 are good options.

My budget is 700 pounds

What sort of amp are you using.

Wharfedale Linton's for the budget and I don't think availability will be problem.

Select Review Index (upper left) -> Speakers (in banner) -> Search Box (type Bookshelf) -> Sort (click column headers of interest, like price) -> Read comments (Much information is there to answer the same criteria/concerns that you may have on the ones that interest you)

There are many good videos and multiple unit shootouts on budget speakers at Erin's Audio Corner

There are sales that will stretch your budget to the next level if you are flexible on choices on the last couple of pages here:
