XTZ A2-400 - ICEpower ICEedge Class D new power amp

What you mean? Sorry...i don't understand
That he is some random ad-paid YouTuber who likes just about everything he reviews. He has absolutely no credibility when trying to evaluate audio gear, neither about his listening impressions, nor his (inexistent) technical knowledge.

He still is kind of sympathetic and has excellent video production and so on.

Why? I watch most of the audio reviews on youtube and I consider his videos very helpful and informative. He was one of the reasons I bought A2-300 a year ago and I love that amp. Now I'm deciding of I should buy another two A2-300 or one A2-400. Hard choice :)
I read in some forum the A2-300 is not quite detailed.......can you confirm?
Thank you

I can't because I had nothing to compare it to, except my Denon 4500h. When I bought Denon 4500h, at the same time, I got new speakers, B&W 603 and HTM6. I run 7.2.4 with 4x B&W M-1 as surrounds and 4x B&W CCM362 ceiling speakers. I was told that I need additional power amp for 603s to make them sing. They sounded fine just with 4500h but when I connected the A2-300 fir the first time... I was VERY impressed. It was noticable difference and I really enjoy it. I never tried any other amp with 603s so I can't help. I would love to hear some good integrated amps from Rotel, Musical Fidelity, Hegel, Accuphase etc... And see how much better they are compare to A2-300. But from all the reviews I have found, A2-300 can compete with these any day. I wish I could help more.

No, it is the recently released 400A2 amplifier module and a custom power supply? Or maybe an yet to be announced power supply from ICEpower?

THD+N in 4 ohms is ok but not great (100Hz blue, 1kHz green and 6.67kHz red).

One can buy a Hypex NCore NC502MP based amp for less than half the price and still have the same power but less distortion.

Maybe they made some implementation on that power supply.....
Why buy something that *might* be improved over the old version, when you can buy something else that is simply superior anyway.

Nice, are you happy with it? Beter sound than before?
