XTZ has just announced a new ICEpower ICEedge powered class D power amp on facebook, specs below:

Their A2-300 amp got some pretty good reviews here and here and the price was down to €399 at some point. Seems like the new amp will have more power obviously, as well as XLR balanced inputs and a 12V trigger. The A2-300 has gain control on the back which is very useful as well.

Does anyone know more about the modules used in the A2-400? Power specifications seem very similar to the Purifi 1ET400A modules and I am assuming it will be more competitively priced.

First line in picture: Amplification type ICEpower - ICEedge CLASS D

So ICEpower it is. Expected twice the money over A2-300.

Coming early jan 2021

The A2-300 is a fine amp (I have two). A bit disappointed that the new one wasn't more powerful. But as opposed to the old one it appears to be bridgable. 1x800W mono blocks is pretty good. :)

I use an A2-300 for my subwoofers. The gain control and auto-on/off feature is excellent and the low power consumption.

What bugs me most about them is that they don't have any type of relay/mute function for the auto-on so it will generate a noticable pop sound. It's not so bad when only subwoofers are connected, but for satellites it would bother me.

Strange, as ICEedge is only currently available on 1200AS1 and 1200AS2 modules, and they do 670W both channels driven into 4 ohms 1kHz <1% THD+N 120VAC.

This amp looks like it is using 125ASX2 power wise, including the bridging functionality, but 125ASX2 does not have the ICEedge tech.

Given the low power consumption I just leave them always on.

Not great pricing :/ ~1200 eur for XTZ vs ~1350 eur for Purifi from audiophonics doesn't look so competitive. I understand XTZ has more features though. Let's wait for product release.

They started selling it.

Very nice looking case and welcomed features, such as gain ajustement. Looks very well built too.:)

Yet, I just saw the retail price to be ≈1200€, which is not competitive at all. At least for EU market: You can get IceEdge 1200AS2 amps from both Rouge Audio or Apollon for less money. You may have dual NC500MP or NC502MP for even cheaper. All of these will run circles around it, power and performance wise.
