330W,Maybe about the same as some incandescent bulbs drawing the same wattage.
How many watts does it draw?
I am confused on to why it's saids 230 under no signal because to me that sounds like standby.
I wish I could remember how much heat a 300 watt bulb would put out. Enough to notice in a 12x16 room? I like to keep the AC running as least as possible when listening to music.
So you want to warm it up to 104F outside? If I had a Luxman 590AXII, would I notice the heat it puts out in a 12x16 room? Would it be enough to where it would keep the AC running more often? It is in Austin, Texas where it is currently 103F outside.
Short answer: Yes absolutely. Further reading for general reference:If I had a Luxman 590AXII, would I notice the heat it puts out in a 12x16 room? Would it be enough to where it would keep the AC running more often? It is in Austin, Texas where it is currently 103F outside.
What's the reasoning behind having a standby mode ?
We have a lizard cage that puts out 250 watts and we don't notice it when we walk by. But for the last couple of months it was putting out 550 watts (lizard was ill), and we noticced it radiating every time we walked byI wish I could remember how much heat a 300 watt bulb would put out.

I agree. The walls heating from the sunlight makes a much bigger difference than the J2 being on.What size air conditioner do you have? FYI, 1 ton = 3.5 kW, and 330 W represents about 10% of the capacity of a 1 ton air-conditioner.
I suspect 330 W is a tiny amount of your overall cooling load.
