Hey Folks,
I'm currently looking for a Dac amp that I only use on the Mac Mini M1 computer. I've already tried an Oppo HA 2, but it sounds audibly worse than the Mac Mini M1 and is distorted at higher volumes and loses its dynamics. The Mac Mini M1 sounds dynamic but doesn't have enough volume reserves to drive my Sennheiser HD 660S. Now today I saw the review of the THX Onyx which sounded promising. Now the question is whether the 200 € are worth it or whether there are better alternatives for this price in desktop use.
