I bet people see a white dog and think let's pet it and are interested in him. It's cool.
She has a mermaid costume, but I should definitely make her one for Halloween. I'm pretty shameless in that I bring her with me everywhere because people are nicer to me. She's a star supermodel. People want to pet her, take pictures of her, and ask all about her. She likes the attention, too. These days, s he gets invited to stuff, I'm her +1.

This is Boo. My sons named her after the Boo Radley character in ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ because she is a protector. I usually call her Boo Boo. She’s skittish with strangers, and she is extraordinarily loyal to her pack members.

We're fostering a 10mo old Maltipoo. He didn't know his name, so we're calling him Finn.

Fun fact: there's 12 of them around our little (non-student population of 700) village. My daughter has one of his littermates and two from the next litter. I'll walk around with him and people I don't even know will greet him by name, or ask, "Is that one of Chris and Courtney's pups?" (which he is)

I've had a few where that might go over ok, and I've had others where I would likely scare small children for the rest of my life after the scars healed...assuming I recovered.

He's lovely! Our two are the offspring of a Parti Poodle and a Maltese cross, so we call them 'Multipoos', rather than 'Maltipoos'
