It's the kinda photo that in a large print makes people go "Oh, what a lovely photo of fall colors. Where is that?" :>

Photogs will notice the extreme purple fringing on the water that the bottom. Even good lenses do that in such extreme lighting. Oh well. Look at the dog instead.

The Eleatic philosopher Zeno was a male: The photo appears like maybe you should've named your dog Zena.;)

Don't make me tell you what parts he has and lacks but see #183 above.

So far he hasn't produced anything quite as impressive as Achilles and the tortoise but we keep working on his training.

Dexter the Doberman.

50Kg (110 lb) of muscle and teeth.

Loves sun bathing, his green ball and German Heavy Metal.

In case you are wondering about his "3rd" rear leg....no this isnt AI generated... Dexter is intact and always will be...not because we breed but because its healthy to remain so. Is also a raw feeder... mainly Ox Heart.

Also for my American friends, ear cropping is illegal in New Zealand which is why he looks so cute and cuddly.

Peter

Need assistance with a morbid-ity question.
Our RussianBlue Spooks has lived at least 2 lives... to a healthy age of 14... but the end is near; very near!

Spooks is the luv of my mate's life.
Any ideas how to comfort her when it happens?
NO! A replacement is NOT an option.

Grief is one of the parts of love. I think it best to embrace it as an expression of love. It's a cycle of life thing.

Thanks. I may know that but she may not.;)
My thinking was something like a dozen black roses, or chatBot, or sumsuch!

When our Wally-the-cat ran out of his lives, the vet had given me his ashes and a baby pine tree to plant somewhere.
I had scored big with those two remembrances. The funny sad part was that we had tended to to the tree for a few years. When it was about few feet tall; we had decided to plant it in a park. We found out some 6 months later that since the pine tree was not 'indigenous' to the locale, rangers had ripped it out.

I am thinking to dine her on some pâté that I will make with the left-over cans of cat food and some wine!

Lucy chased a doe this morning, got frighteningly close, the doe got away and at a distance stood, turned to look at us and stared daggers. Later Lucy was swimming rather a lot. Here she is near the end of the hike getting ready to bring some of the forest into the back of the car.
