i'm not saying i'm a huge fan of Beyonce... in fact I;m really ambivalent of most of her studio stuff but her live in Vegas set is probably undoubtedly among these best in modern female vocals. I can easily see why she's a billionaire.

even the YT sound quality compares well with the redbook.

the start section from about 0'45" to about 1'15" is about as incredible vocal control as you would get from any contemporary.

Also ends with a tribute to Anita Baker.

Really good album! Out of interest how are you generating the 'now playing' screen?

I've been enjoying Australian folk/rock band The Paper Kite's new album At The Roadhouse. Quite a bit of variety, turn up "Black & Thunder" and see what you think.

Kite is also a track of this album from the Diasonics, a funk band from Russia.
Singles were well received end 2021, creating some anticipation for the album that probably suffered from the context in 2022.
I like this album as a whole, it sounds weirdly familiar and original at the same time.
