3 years before he died in 1961 after just 31 years alive pianist Sonny Clark with very notable musicians in 1958 recorded what has become the always re-listenable jazz classic album "COOL STRUTIN'"

Not only the interpretation is superb but the recording is excellent. It has thundering bass and really good dynamics. Most recommended.

What a bass line. This is just too good to be true. Finding such a bass line in a pop chart hit. Amazing.
