What are we listening to right now..

Has anyone else listened to Homegrown by Neil Young yet? In addition to how good the material is, I'm pretty blown away by the audio quality and mastering of many of these tracks.

Mine should arrive tomorrow.

Just finished the second pass. (Note I have the Amazon MP3 download). Favourite song on the album is White Line. This version just blows away that on Songs for Judy. Easily could have skipped Florida. Homegrown and We Don't Smoke It No More are just great fun. Sound quality is OK, but some of the mixing is quite questionable to me. The piano in We Don't Smoke It seems to be on wheels and moves from one side of the studio to the other during the song. Slightly disconcerting.

Over all rating Content 8/10 Sound 7/10 Satisfaction in Finally Hearing the Myth 12/10
