Oh, here's a review:

Ganesia / Kazumi band

1.Rioji 2.Return Of Bolivian Song Man 3.Ganesia 4.MoonDrops 5.Racoon Roll 6.Moenega 7.Jazoo 8.Ka Ge No Nyuansu

1982 work

Kazumi band was allowed to complete the "Ganeshia" as completely rock band.

Hideo Yamaki of drum that is made so as to recall the Bill Buraffodo is from the work of this side. Reduce the trouble, simple Yuku punched in the rhythm of intense high-pitched snare. Bull Buraffodo Hideo Yamaki of Japan has not fully opened their individuality. Also distinguish the tenor and baritone sax of Yasuaki Shimizu, begin resounding bass coming enters To Zushiri to the bottom of the belly.

Watanabe guitar solo Kazumi is looming on hand to listen to while bruise Gorigori and rock. Each player while making the best use of individual skills, has created the whole of harmony. While using the delicate acoustic sound, by comparing the thick sound of Electric, it has created a dynamic music.

Beautiful melody of Acoustic Thich piano of Sasaji is to produce a sense of transparency did not have previous work.

Previous work "head freak 奸児 Tome" in lock direction, but I think that is larger of the two direction songs and so on jazz direction was making a whole are arranged, in the flow Ganeshia is that the complex chaos, whole feels as configured.

Guitar, saxophone, piano, bass, while stands out To grain is clearly every single sound of each player that drum, even as intertwined seem.

And, and unique arrangements by the development of experimental rhythm patterns, avant-garde sound deployment that incorporates the rhythm of the band of musical sandwichmen of the last song feel the appearance of Mariah project after.

Butchery the frame of the music, the attitude to be about to enter the foot take to listen clearly to further new area.It is a progressive work in attitude both for sound and music.

Kazumi Watanabe: Yasuaki Shimizu Guitar: Sax Sasaji Masanori: keyboard, piano high water Kenji: Hideo base Yamaki: drums

Evaluation: A (masterpiece to call the name record)

Jennifer Nettles - Playing With Fire
This is her second solo studio album, ten of the album's twelve tracks were written or co-written by Jennifer. Nettles describes the album as "marrying traditional country styles with newer ones. I can never get enough of her powerful, clean voice and very individual style, I'm in love.

Was just reminded of one of our favourite albums, One Second by Yello, played to death years ago. A huge song on this was

Massive, universe filling sound - should be wound up to max, for a mesmerising experience ...

Riding out the last of Matthew with,
Pink Floyd - Remember That Night (BluRay)
Wish I had the opportunity to see that concert live. :(
A killer axe solo by Gilmour doing Coming Back to Life
IMO he remains the best guitar player rock has ever produced.

I'm a huge David Gilmour fan. I have this Blu-ray as well, but I want the Gdansk concert on Blu-ray. It has the best version of ECHOES ever.

Nothing as my pre amp went nuts this morning and blew out all 4 of my bass drivers while no actual program was being played...
A nice 50hz mains signal one imagines .. Answers why on a postcard
Great!

Open circuit? The tweeters and mid are fine...

The sound of silence

OUCH!
Sorry to hear that Thomas, really sucks.
Think I've posted along these lines before but over and over I'm amazed by the lack of reliability a lot of the very expensive audio gear reveals. For whatever reason components on both your amps overheated and literally fell off circuit boards? At these prices that kind of gear should last a lifetime. How many times in the last 40 something years have I read equipment reviews where the DUT didn't make it thru the review before failing or even being out of spec or DOA when acquired. This from gear you would think the manufacturer would have made 100% sure was as best as possible before release for review?
I don't get it, but there just looks to be a inverse equation between reliably and price with some audio gear. :(

Sheeeesh ... that's a bummer !!

If it was a 50Hz signal it would made an enormous racket - PA hum on steriods ... I suspect DC was fed to the drivers, crossover capacitors would have saved other than the bass units, the voice coils of the latter would have cooked. What's the DC voltage across the amplifier speaker terminals, for each channel, with and without pre-amp powered up?
