probably very known among audiophiles, still I gave it a listen for the first time yesterday. Production is excellent and the music is very beautiful. Not all of her other albums are recorded this good; her music is always very beautiful, but here the production’s quality is outstanding. Probably because of the microphones, I don’t really know.

Very Pink Floyd-like, albeit instrumental (and unfortunately the band seems to no longer exist):

I'm listening to the Grateful Dead from the Marin Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, Ca. 03-31-1984. 2200 seat theater shaped like a speaker .
There were 4 shows and we were dead center for all of them. We were in row 8-11 for the shows. We were at the same height as the stage. It was a good sight line and killer sound. Ah, those were the days.

This is a good one to run with your Subs if you've got 'em. ;) This was my gateway into Ambient and Electronica several years back courtesy of a friend on another forum.

"Arrivederla Eccellenza! / Peace" feat. Michael Manring

It would require a whole podcast episode to begin to express the joy listening to this gives me. And it sounds real swell on the living room system.

The album has a cover of the ancient Pink Floyd number Interstellar Overdrive. Not the best cut on the album, I'm just hoping to use the gigaprog band's name to draw interest.
