I have this cute unused tube amplifier I want to convert to a headphone system. With Chromecast as source and Roon I could correct flaws in the frequency response too…
It may measure like crap and sound like tubes, but it looks kind of cute. It actually did sound OK on my Audio Physic Virgo II, as long as level is low. I will be using my crap headphones Grado SR125 bought 25 years ago..
Now I just have to wait for the adapter to arrive…
some want 450 dollar for a box with 4 resistors and som connectors to adapt power amp output to headphones.
Ebay for 50usd , so I bought this one . If it is not good I can modify it I guess.
