TOPPING D90 III、TOPPING D50 III

The build quality is not cheap. That case, which is the same since the first D90, is very robust and sturdy, the walls are thick and do not bend, there are no gaps.
And it has a very nice haptic feeling.
I have no doubt about what you're saying.
Can be the rendering, can be the style but this pics are an age away from something like Eversolo for example,or even a WiiM.

The rendering is not very good. I have a D90, which us very similar (it has two buttons instead of the rotary dial) and the real life effect is very different.

I am currently on D70 Pro Octo which is amplified by S17 Pro and sounds wonderful, detailed, wide, punchy, with certain amount of depth. Wondering will this 1BIT DAC sound more holographic like R2R and lets say "natural"?

As I know this is Topping's new approach for a more analoglike sound signature so it might be.

Why would a dac have a ‘sound’?
This is Head-Fi nonsense…

More like marketing. Like AKM velvet.

Maybe. Some believe in different sound characters, some not, but it's a delicate topic since it's a subjective thing. The best scenario is when someone has the opportunity for a listening and deciding it for it's own.

With distortion superbly low and other metrics looking right with as well they should all be completely inaudible with the best DACs. I believe more in our own biases as well as output levels. A loudspeaker is nowhere near this level of accuracy.
And well, of course filters can change the sound in various ways as well.

I can understand price argument.
But what's wrong with BT remote?

The cons far outweigh the pros for the vast majority of users.
The pairing lag of the BT remote is a PITA, I mean sure you can finally get a remote that can work without LOS but its a useless feature for most users.

Does anybody know what PSRM stands for?

I make a guess: Precision Something Resistor Module?

Thank you very much. Sounds a bit like the PSAudio method (but, apparently, implemented better).
If it's "real" DSD DAC it would be the best measuring DAC of that kind.

1khz measurements looks very similar to d90iii based on sabre.
