Step response question

This looks great!!
Apparently it blended the drivers in your Eris pretty nicely!
How does it sound?

I personally need Jriver since I have other DSP plugins too that need to run (crossover, tube EQ)

my wide eq i think sound better.I do soon microphone records from speaker. maybe then hear more. on the kali the step response change alot. but the true of a slow woofer can see when measure 1.5 cm from woofer. then kali stay slow stereo wide of kali stay near same. i think it get a little wider. but it sound much more clear as with arc or mathroom eq. strange thing the ITD demo i can hear with kali too. with and without dirac.

I think the step response changes dramatically in the listening position since Dirac can actually apply a kind of frequency-dependent delay
So it can actually delay the midrange driver and the tweeter to match woofer so their sound will reach the listening position at the same time - hence the really nicely shaped curve + I think that's why it sounds "clean"

another think that make music compare with and withoutm dirac very hard is because it is not possible in dirac to choose a bypass volume. arc and room eq have this. when dirac is disable with the knob inside dirac processor the original get 3-4 db louder. so original sound better. i need search a solution to easy make correct or not correct same loud

the spectrum look also better in kali. the LP6 is a 2 way system. A

big enhancement that is need to reach the stereo width and room size of eris or mtm i hear not. maybe its simular as the diesel exhaust :D:D . dirac correct the tones so it look nice on measure. I think i find a way to see with dirac the true too. i see at 1.5 cm worser impulses when look on the impulse response and not on the step response. maybe you can show with your wide band speakers how they look with dirac at 1.5 cm mesasure and without if there is a diffrence too. the impulse response at 1.5 cm shot what i hear with or without dirac. eris sound best in room. a little less good is mtm. and kali lp6 i think very bad

attach are the speaker records with dirac. problem on kali stay same. it sound as the guitar come from middle and the highhat is more left as the guitar. thats wrong. the record contain 2 guitars played diffrent. 1 full left and 1 full right. on a fast mid range speaker you should not hear guitar from middle. and highhat is not ,more left as the guitar. also on lp6 the guitar sound muddy and the highhat sound clear more bright. on the eris the guitar sound not muddy is is on brightness simular to high hat. the original in on my quick speaker tests. you find the tests "with step response" search
