Cannot get Dirac Live to work. Cannot understand why

red is DL off
green is DL on: single measurement
both in same position
Thank You for the tip about zipping the file for upload. didn't know

Smoothing is the same?

red is DL off

sorry ASR won't let me upload the MDAT files for some reason
Are we talking about two speakers or just one?

It would also be helpful to see the Dirac house curve -understanding what it’s aiming to do could explain the response we're seeing.

thanks everybody. I will follow up on this thread tomorrow.
no smoothing.

2 speakers and 2 subwoofers together

With Dirac, the correction is only as good as the measurement. So, how are you taking your measurements? Are you using the mini tripod that came with your UMIK-1 (this is the most common mistake)? Hand-holding your mic? Did you read this thread?

And yes, do what @GXAlan suggested - one mic position, do the correction, then verify with REW. I would add: use REW to measure before and after Dirac correction, then upload the .MDAT to ASR.
I am using a large tripod not the little one

Can you describe exactly what the measurement setup is in detail? I.e., what is the mic plugged into, where the test signal are coming from, etc.? I've seen an issue like this when DAC and ADC were from units with different clocks, so let's eliminate that possibility (or confirm it).

Red: no Dirac
Green: with Dirac

To be honest I am not sure what you are complaining about. It looks as if Dirac is working as intended. It has knocked down your bass a little (because it was too hot). It looks as if the PEQ created by Dirac has worsened the dip at 70Hz.

Here are both graphs with ERB smoothing. ERB smoothing represents what you actually hear. As you can see, that dip at 70Hz disappears (we are less sensitive to dips than we are to peaks).

How do you do with the Dirac live? What is target curve? Please take screenshot of Dirac live when you do Filter Export to MiniDSP

the first 2 shots are with 7 measurements
the last 2 shots are with one single measurement as requested

mic is plugged to the MacBook Pro,
MiniDSP Flex is connected to the MacBookPro
Amplifier and subwoofers are connected to the MiniDSP Flex
48kHz 2 channel 24 bit integer on the Mac
I don't know hot to check for different clocks

The graphs I see posted by others do not look like mine.
so you think the DL correction is as it should be?

(I have not been able to do a dirac measurement. I get a message about noise level being too high)

I had played with 2 MiniDSPs, both with one measurement and 5 or 9 measurements. Event with 1 measurement, the Dirac Live on had better results with multiple system combination. I connected Macbook to UMIK-1 and MiniDSP same as you did.

Did you have big noise when you measure?

In your measurement, you can tick measured to see the result of measurement, and compare to corrected.
The below screenshot is Dirac on (highlight line) vs Dirac off with single measurement. Smoothing is VAR

You may have a look at this guide: MiniDSP C-DSP 8x12 DL_ Quick Tuning Guide. Do google search, you will find it in doc file.

Thank You. I have read just about everything about Dirac and watched a lot of videos but I have not read this one.
