Static noise from headphone tube amp (Decware Taboo MKIII)

Hey

I just set up my new headphone amp and it works, i can listen to the music but i hear a static noise too a sort of buzz/brrrrrr noise.

Any ideas?

I am using my Asus Essence STX soundcard as dac.

What headphones are you using?

What happens if you plug in another source, say the output from the headphone jack of your phone? Or anything else you might have that outputs analog?

If you disconnect the STX card does the buzz stop? I had that, was a ground loop via my PC, used a cheap USB isolator from ebay and fixed it.
