I'd just agree not to use Magnius as a single ended headphone amp there's better ones out there. But as a balanced amp it's a very capable performer..

I'll confess, the science of some of this stuff confuses me. That said, is there a reason the Jot2 shouldn't be used with low ohm headphones, as seems to be stated elsewhere in this thread?

The Jotunheim (and Magnius) are primarily balanced amps that also support unbalanced as a secondary convenience feature. If you intend to use balanced mode, they are nice and clean, even with low impedance loads. Their unbalanced performance is sufficient for casual listening.
