REW 10-Band PEQ

I used REW this weekend to measure my room and create a PEQ file. I noticed that REW generated 16-bands. How can I limit this to only 10-bands? Some of the new DACs coming out (e.g., Topping) will have a built-in 10-band PEQ function. Just trying to educate myself now since I really like the idea of having PEQ within the DAC itself.

Open the EQ window, click on the "EQ Filters" button on top, then disable filters until you're left with 10. Then run the EQ algorithm.

Oh, okay. I guess I was thinking that the EQs only showed after running the correction algorithm. So untick 6 of 16 and then run the correction algorithm to generate the generic PEQ file?

EQ Filters

I believe REW has 20 slots of which it apparently used 16 in your case. If you want to limit this to 10, you’d have to disable 10 filters.
