You're not missing out on the DACs full potential by not using it at its highest sample rate.
That's a common misconception. More about that here

In reality, upsampling your audio is at best pointless and at worst detrimental to sound quality. That's why you should leave it at the native sample rate of your content.

Ha. So is there a way to do the opposite now? To make the remote not work again?
Normally you just have to press A or B to make the remote switch to another mode.

I'm actually having an issue where another remote from another device is triggering it. That one doesn't have different modes. Is there any way to make it not respond to any remotes?
