In reality, upsampling your audio is at best pointless and at worst detrimental to sound quality. That's why you should leave it at the native sample rate of your content.

Remove the batteries.

Normally you just have to press A or B to make the remote switch to another mode.

I'm actually having an issue where another remote from another device is triggering it. That one doesn't have different modes. Is there any way to make it not respond to any remotes?

There is an emissive led in the remote and and a reception led in the sabaj. A Post-it in front of the reception led will do the job.
