Hi all, just saw this posted on HydrogenAudio, I've not seen it here, I think, but I thought it was interesting.

Interesting curious if he used Full room correction or Schroder methode till 400hz.
Read in to the paper. If i"m correct on page 16 he gives a descript an area between 20 an 20khz page 17 explains what happens between these frequencies.
So rather full correction than Schroder method it seems like. What does it says about his results?.

I had a look at the references (page 46 onwards) and the author has obviously undertaken some prior research. The paper builds on from a consideration of professional studio acoustic design (i.e. big investment) vs rooms which are not acoustically built from the ground up. It might be that their work is not relevant outside such a narrow constraint. Also, there (as often seems to be the case with acoustics) is a "preference" perspective. So again, it may not be appropriate for most ASR members. It fits a bit with my world view which is to get everything as right as (economically) possible before making phase/FR changes in electronics.
