Was not sure where to post this:

Anyone here have any comments on this (Link below)

or has anyone used one / or is using one,I understand the Benchmark

version would be the ultimate execution of the relay volume control.

Although a little high in cost, Also would this be better, than say the

digital Volume control of the DAC chip used in most implementations.

Or would the addition of extra circuitry and another set of cables,

negate any benefit / if any, over the use of the DAC chip volume control

cheaper, does not need a power supply and works equally well... at least its good enough for me.
Built something very similar and still serves me well after 30 years.

The downside of these things is the high output impedance, requiring a power amp with a high input impedance. This one specifies "output near 3kΩ", so using the usual rule of thumb, you'd want an amp with an input impedance of at least 30k Ohm.
