At UDT-SEAL Museum where we trained for Normandy with my two ex racers. I'm a tour/answer guy at the museum on my day off for the last 8 years. If you're a history buff, WWII and mil in particular, and have not visited that museum, you're doing it wrong.

I have had, or been around, many a GH, and she's especially striking looking dog.

I love brindle and especially on a GH and she looks great. But look also at the photo overall: the blues, greens, whites, browns, their many shares and their shapes and textures. It's a really good pic.

Thanx. I do a fair amount of photography and occasional paid work over the years. My GHs are my favorite to shoot of course. Tried to post some others here, get rejected for being too large.

I'd guess she was doing close to 40mph give or take a few. She is fast even for a GH and was top 3 in most of her races.

Looks like a 2-stroke diesel. Old as the hills. Great image. How did you enjoy the San Jaun area? I used to go there on my Sunday's drive into Washington State and cruise on over West into the smaller populous area and have clam chowder and a entrée of fish and fries.
