Some pictures I took a few weeks ago at Loen, Norway on the Innvik Fjord. These are from the top of the Loen Skylift cable car.

Like it, but looks quite overprocessed to me (on my smartphone).
Reminds me of an art effect called HDR Look, combined with heavy local contrast.

I don't mind its intentional use for specific images to achieve a deliberate look that the artist wants to use to communicate something specific. For that particular photo in post #531, I think I get it.

But it would get old very quickly if used as a signature look.

Yes.. it was on purpose, it's a photo I took in 2007, and I processed it as if it were a painting, using HDR. I've already sold more than 20 images of this photo in size 36x50" ... Thank you
It's a fantastic image.

May I suggest we use this thread for personal photographs?

And not for display of commercial work that is for sale?

I mean this kindly @Abdo, and it's just a thought. I'm not the boss, @AdamG can put me in my place. ;)

Personally, I enjoy this thread more than the other 'photos I found' threads, as it provides a little window into the personal worlds of members. That's why I make this suggestion.

cheers
