Pairing which preamp with my QSC1450 will produce an ideal sound?

What does your DAC/Streamer/Etc. provide for an EQ capability?

Maybe you would be better off using the funds for a subwoofer, than spending up on a preamp?

This could go on and on. I thank all who have contributed and I will probably start with a preamp and continue the build from there.....preamp, EQ, Sub.
The miniDSP preamp suggested might be a good start.
