Pairing which preamp with my QSC1450 will produce an ideal sound?

That's pretty much meaningless.

It actually says a lot, if you look carefully.

Aren't there rules about such responses?
I'm merely trying to find a low output impedance preamp bro......

What is the input impedance of the that QSC amp?
Typically you’ll want the output impedance of the pre to be 10x lower than the input impedance of the amp… or more.

No for me to even mention low output impedance. That's common sense for a preamp. All I need is a decent preamp that gives me what my QSC is capable of.

Nevermind, I'm sure I can find what I want on the Island.

Is this what you are referring to?

Ok is the Lionking using XLR or single ended?

The speakers are old school JVC and have raw wire poles. However I come out of the QSC with 1/4 inch RCAs

If it is one or the other, then I would want 1k ohm or less on the preamp‘s output impedance.
If you are using both at once, then they add together and pull down the input… so I would be looking at 600 ohms or lower for the preamp’s output impedance.

In reality, it will not likely matter a whole lot, and you could probably drive the amp straight from a DAC if you do not need any other inputs to switch between.
Then you would not even need a preamp.

My only other addition will possibly be an EQ of some sort

Was aiming at finding a preamp with output impedance of 200 ohms or less. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Somewhere in between you also said something about cost and something about an island. This is all pertinent to your inquiry. Maybe put all of your requirements into one single post. Don’t make the people who can potentially help you do a lot of detective work.

MiniDSP Flex. If you only need one analog and a bunch of digital inputs, plus BT if you need.
It certainly meets your 200Ohm output impedance.
Even better, it has DSP, and crossover for sub integration, plus a version with Dirac if you want that.

I currently use my Spotify via my cellphone. The EQ this provides is useless IMO, but the cell phone gives great clarity of playback.
Should I keep using the cellphone and invest in an EQ instead. I've been offered a 7 band EQ, which the dealer says can do the job.
