Received and tested. It doesn't output 192kHz when downmix is switched on. Orei Support confirms it downsamples to 48kHz over SPDIF/optical for better compatibility, when it is set to downmix to stereo. Therefore i'm returning it.

I use an AppleTV 4K connected to a 2022 Samsung TV. My TV acts as hdmi splitter and send audio signal to my Bluesound Node through Hdmi eARC connection.

Would the HDA-939 be a better audio splitter than my TV???

When I start AppleTV, Bluesound detects audio signal and turns on my amp, due to 12v trigger. But this path is laggy and sometimes slow to react.

Do you think an HDA-939 would be a better solution? Any improvement in audio quality or faster amp activation would be wellcome…

Question for folks who own this - does the support volume changes via the TV remote? The manual says it has API commands for that through the computer connector but no mention about whether it does this through ARC/eARC. This is usually through HDMI-CEC commands - and the port connector does say "DOWNSCALEeARC/ARC/CEC".

I would love this as a receiver for my tv and not need the extra remote :)
