<0.02% THD on C399. <0.0005 % on the C298. Thus 3900% more distortion in the C399. Does that inform your choice in any way?

I read a review where the M33 was said to be only 6% better than the 399.

Why would you expect particular SQ differences between them in the first place? You like advertising a lot or ?

The idea that you can assign percentages to differences that can only be heard, if at all, in edge cases, is so…audiophile.
