Moerch DP8 mini review

How is the headshell fixed to the wand ? May be it needs attention regarding the resonance ?

It's integrated, one piece arm+headshell.

I have played a bit with vertical damping and it does not do very much for DP8. I also tested different amounts by adjusting the set screw, but no difference.

Below is the LF sweep with Shure/JICO brush + Denon silent groove + Billie Jean the first part with UP4 and DP8. I can see resonances in the 300-400 Hz range as well. As spotted also by Korf Audio. A bit disappointing with these resonances but they are probably low enough not to cause problems during music play. There are positive things with this arm that are very nice, as said before.

The last measurement comes here. I swapped to the 7.5 g arm wand and the middle counterweight, readjusted all things. The resonance now at 64 Hz, and a few dB less than before (at -18 dB and -24 dB).

Edit: It seems that the 7.5 g arm wand and middle counterweight with underslung position decreased the 300-400 Hz resonances.
