MiniDSP or just Upgrade AVR?

Hi all, wondering if you think there is any better solution between a few options I am considering. Or potentially another option I have not thought of.

I have a setup used for 50/50 listening to music and 4k gaming via PS5. I am doing just 2.1 so no surround sound. I have Revel Performa M105 speakers and an SVS SB-1000 sub. I am running everything including the PS5 through an Onkyo NR-61000 AVR which allows me to play the PS5 in 4k/120hz. I have no network streamer and have been using Chromecast to cast Qobuz to the AVR. I would prefer a dedicated streamer and I would like to dabble with room correction so was considering the following:

1) Get a miniDSP SHD and connect to my AVR via line in to use as both my network streamer and for Dirac Live room correction

2) Upgrade my receiver to one that supports my 4k/120hz gaming as well as has Dirac embedded into it. My Onkyo is pretty low quality.

3) Get a Wiim Pro Plus and use its room correction.

In terms of budget, I am not concerned about price really. Would just like to make a smart decision. I will likely upgrade this entire system at regular intervals.

Thanks!

if you want a drop-in replacement - get a Denon AVR with XT32 support.
I found myself that room correction is overrated.
so I would just put cheap Aiyima A07 or similar (slightly better) Fosi amp - they are cheap, so you have nothing to lose.
then you can try Topping PA5 - it will give better fidelity, but less power/amplification.
If you don't like it - you can get AVR.
A good clarity from my Topping PA5 gets over whatever muddy sound (room corrected) comes out of AVR.
