Hi, hoping to get some advice! I use my 2.1 system (w/ KEF KC 62) primarily for digital sources/music (ie. Spotify Connect, DLNA) and watching tv shows/movies from my Apple TV 4K. I've done all I can with my room treatments/speaker placement, so hoping to to add some room correction via DIRAC Live.

My research has led me to two options:

1) MiniDSP Flex HT - however, I think this doesn't apply the Dirac Live correction to my Spotify Connect streams I play directly to my H190 and would have to add another streamer like the Wiim Pro Plus?
2) get a Bluesound Powernode Icon, which also I can then upgrade to Dirac Live; however, this seems to be redundant as I will have a DAC in my H190 and also the Icon?

Very new to all of this, your guidance would be appreciated!

You should only need the base Flex, not the HT, for 2.1 unless you're planning on upgrading to multichannel later.

I believe you could use the Flex for your streams directly to the H190 by connecting its analog outs to the Flex's analog ins, and then connecting the Flex's analog outs to the H190's analog ins. Not elegant, but should work fine I think.

Yes it would be some redundant functionality, but wouldn't hurt anything. Whether it's worth it to spend that much for the Bluesound is something only you can decide. Myself, I wouldn't considering you can get a full on AVR with Dirac for less.

Thank you, this is helpful!
